900.00 Epione SG ......why?

If I had $400 I would pick this up sort of locally...

I almost got one of those prophecies...then Ramo showed me a certain 7 string snow white Jackson V with a floyd rose....suffice to say my last 4 songs i recorded was on that very Jackson.

Honestly i like them, i have an epiphone V Richie Faulkner signature i paid $1,000 for and its very much my favorite 6 string, i love how it feels, the action is REALLY nice and holy crap the EMG-57-66 tones I absolutely love! (it also has a floyd rose and im actually terrified of changing the strings which it so desperately needs right now..) so would I pay $1,000 for an epiphone of the same quality again? Sure would if it had all the features i like.

IT seems VERY NICE...... but come on you can get a metric crap load of GIBSON SG's under 900 used..... really nice ones
or a NEW Gibson sg for just a few dollars more
Well, it's real mahogany with a real maple cap. Has an ebony fretboard and Fishman pickups. My Gibson SG Modern, that I am anxiously waiting for, is $2,000. Maple cap, 24 frets, ebony board. Pretty similar for $1100 less. I don't see that it's that bad of a deal.

There's also still a trade war going on with China. Goods that have comparable equals that are made in the U.S. will be hit with extra tariffs. Especially when American flagged companies are outsourcing for cheaper labor. Aside from guitars... steel and other metals, building materials, and so much other stuff is still being hit hard because we sent all manufacturing off shore years ago for higher corporate profits that will never be taxed.
