9 string?

"Nine? HAH! This one goes to 11!!"

... and for the purpuses of this discussion, let's possibly agree that for paired or tripled course string stuff
like traditonal 12 string guitars or mandolins or the Tom Petersson 12 string bass each course will only be
counted as a single string, since that's how they are normally used in any case.
