38 Years a Strat!!! How about you?

It's all good, she got fat & he was a loser, match made in heaven.....also she called my Mom crying and wanted to come to Texas with me after that and I laughed. 15 years later when I went back to visit some old friends she was still with loser & still in Upper Michigan.

OH Rob, You missed my whole message.

1988 Charvel Model 1C & a Rockman I bought my senior year brand new... so I jumped back in my Trans Am and never looked back, not thinking of my stuff she had.

Substitute " her" in for 1988 Charvel 1C and Rockman.

My Teisco’s are long gone, as are my Hondo ll LP copy, and the other 2 copies I had bought in 77-78, the Explorer in my avatar pic would have been the oldest guitar I had owned, a 76 but it was sold in 84..
The one that has been with me the longest time that is never going anywhere, is my V

Designed for players the world over who are into classic style and design, versatile and lush sounds, as well as exceptional value for money. The Player Series Stratocaster has all the hallmarks of a classic Strat, luscious body hugging curves, distinctive tonality allowing the player's character to shine through, contemporary and time honoured historical features like the spaghetti logo and Fender designed pickups. As well as performance orientated modern upgrades like gloss fronted/satin backed necks, synthetic bone nuts, and a two-point pivot tremolo.

For affordable and time tested tone it doesn't get much better than the Player Series. All Player Series feature modern "C" Profile Necks with a 9.5" Radius, 22 Medium Jumbo Frets, bent steel saddles on the Strats and Teles. All the pickups in the series have been re-designed by Tim Shaw featuring Alnico 5 single coils and Alnico 2 humbuckers. Alnico 2 magnets typically have a rich tone with a mid-range bump and less output, whereas alnico 5 magnets have a higher output, increased bass, and a very clear high-end.

A really good, affordable guitar for all levels of player, just as Leo intended.

My red one is a MIM Strat that I got from a pawn shop, I think it’s great 6738A38C-2115-49AA-B640-14E25DD25BFF.jpeg95F25B8C-CC29-460D-9B1E-9F1B0685261D.jpeg

Ramo, Mex Strats are good. However, I would think a lot of factors will go into determining if one will be a good fit for your needs and wants.

As with most guitars, I would suggest checking out in person the ones you think you might want. Your hands and ears can tell you your choice from there.

Here are 3-4 areas that might dictate Yay or Nay on Mex Strats or any Strat for that matter.

Pup Config. SSS, HSS, H H
Tuners, Nut, Bridge---Vintage, Modern, Locking, Floyd
Neck Shape, Radius and width---- Depending on Model if it is USA, MEX, ASIAN made, will determine comfort as far as shape and nut width string spacing etc

Finally, Pickup choices, Refer back to item 1 and then based on that, regular stock pups, Signature ones, Tex Mex, Lace Sensor, Standard Hum shape or Stacked single, etc.

That is all I can tell you without being your eyes ears and hands.

Thats good info, Im interested exact one ive posted above, I have not played it but i like how it looks, always wanted white strat... actually my first electric guitar was white strat copy... I dont have it any more... i tried to do mods and messed everything up then threw it away.... ( i know dumb move)

I want single coli tone and clean sound of strat. It wont be my main guitar, just want to have that start sound option when i do recordings. My LTD had coil split but its not the same...
I need to play it before i buy.

That helps us help you.

How do you feel about a gloss neck vs satin type neck? Preference?

Ramo, is Brighton, Gak or Badlands anywhere near you and any good to check out Strats from?
Have you found this particular guitar, model, finish etc? Or just that is the one you like the looks of.
