2017 SG Special MINIHUMERS

If I have to SOLDER----- Im not dicking with the PC board Im replacing it-----Ill drop in a ready made harness -- solder a couple points and be done---
I cant hardly see in that cavity much less "flow" solder into joints----- Ill melt the board sure as I am sitting here---

You could send it to me....I’ll fix it.
 
really Im "looking" for an "excuse" to have to put proper wiring in it..........sorta ......ya know
 
If the guitar is new, it's under warranty, and any messing about in the cavity
will void your warranty.

That never stopped me, I've always just modded them the way I wanted them and
never troubled the manufacturer further.

But a proper wiring harness installed by someone who knows what they are doing
ought to give good service. My 2012 SG special is dead quiet, (at least at the volumes I play)
and has the factory wiring, no PCB.

Thanks Col-- no its not new--- purchased used -- its a 2017 --

replacing the harness is "on my list" of growing repair projects ----

I actually own it, and if you are interested and if you P.M. me a mailing address
I'll send you my copy. I'm probably not wiring any more guitars at this point.
But owning the DVD was helpful when I began. Erlewine's great.
And he explains things very clearly, and demonstrates perfectly.

A very generous offer Col. -- Thank you --I am a big fan of Dan and I appreciate it.
As said above its "on the list" --- and in due time will get addressed-- but here on misfit farm there are MANY other spring projects -- new goat kiddings-- goose and duck hatchings-- sheds and shelters being built and things needing planted-- others needing harvested---
the harness will most likely be a fall/ winter project----at present my time is limited and what I do get -- I PLAY not solder :)

and I most likely will use a pre wired drop in, I can handle the couple solder spots --- begrudgingly-- but can handle lol
