Do you notice any more or less noise with your PCB equipped Gibson???

No difference I can tell. I actually like the PCB idea - just like in other electronics it keeps things repeatable and accurate in manufacturing, no variances because a wire happens to be in one position vs another, etc. The signal doesn't know or care if its traveling 50-year old cloth covered wire or a PCB trace.

Agreed! I have considered buying this model in the past, largely because of the more "original" headstock design, but I still kinda see it as a China model, even though it seems everything is being made thete nowadays.

I still can't go for a Chinese guitar, mostly because I have not played one yet that was worthy of my money. If they stop making guitars in US I will buy nothing but used.

Brother, I'm the same way. 6'4" and right now about 220#
My friends have been making fun of how the LP looks on me my whole life.
