Really need to open your mind----- your way to militant and rigid on this concept of HAVING to adjust poop.
IT doesnt move......so what--- it doesnt have to the guitar sounds awesome---if it aint broke dont fix it.
Did you redo all the electrical wiring in your house ? I bet there is a more modern and efficient way----but--- it works right?
Are you optimizing your vehicle ---do you use synthetic oil ??? Are the lug nuts tourqued to exact specs? Have you upgraded to TITANIUM wheel bearings?? You could get .085 more miles per gallon if you do.......I hear they have a wax that is so slippery it improves vehicle efficiency......are you using it??/ Why not ?? have you upgraded teh ECU chip to get an extra 14 hp????? for shame----your car is NOT all it CAN BE man ------you need to get busy you have many things that need adjusting!
Or do you like it ----drive and and enjoy it ---as it is?

You get your concepts confused a lot, don't you? In this instance, you are confusing the NEED to do so with the OPTION to do so. I do not NEED to change anything, but I want the OPTION to change everything. When it comes to something as simple as the turn of a screw, I will likely avail myself of that OPTION to discovery what is there to be discovered. As the difficulty/cost increases and benefit decreases, I would become less likely to avail myself of the OPTION to do something.

I did, even got Con Ed to replace the feeder from the street.
The plumbing too, including the incoming main from the street.
2 days ago I started gutting my kitchen down to the studs.
The old kitchen was fine but so what. I want a new one.
7 of my guitars are completely stock. The other 2 have been
heavily modded, 1 to the point where the only original parts
left are the neck and body. They all sound good to my ears.
I can and have played the entire gig with any one of them.
Are the modded ones better than the stock ones? Naah.
They are however, better than they were pre modding.
At least I think so.

On conventional I would change every 3000 miles, But my last two Benz's were synthetic only and the book recommended 10k.
Now, driving a Dodge 8 - 10k should be a good interval.
If I rod knock it, I have my out for a new car.
I only put around 5k(max) on my little Subaru over the course of 6-7 months...they say 7500 miles between changes.

It seems on point actually!
I have a Crosstrek. Three years now. Perfect for me. I can stuff it with gear for gigs, or for fishing. It is by far the most anemic car I've ever owned though...but there's no stopping it, and I guess that's the point. It's been excellent for New England winters, and getting in to some backwoods fishing spots with my kayak. As a daily driver, it does all I need, and gets an average of 33-34 mpg with full time all wheel drive. Once it gets going it handles pretty well too.
Edit: oh yeah, and it fits in my tiny garage too.
