What is a "Long" wait if you don't mind my asking...
That's a good question...it's quite variable. My statement is in comparison to say, Sweetwater, they will ship anything in stock within a day.
If you want a stock item, no setup, I'm sure Rich will ship it within a day of pmnt. But, that's not why you get a guitar from ibanezrules. You want it done up. (And the price done-up will be about the same price off the shelf anywhere else. ) no brainer.
My in stock guitar took about 4 weeks. It could have taken a couple weeks more or less, it depends on how backed up he is.
It's an inventory problem. Ibanez is not supplying enough prestige guitars....look anywhere, Sweetwater, guitar center, zzsounds. They don't have them. So when Rich gets his shipment in, your talking 4-6 hours for every set-up....he's a one man show. Your on a list, and if they were ahead of you, your bumped. It's only fair.
Many of the guitars I wanted aren't even available until july-sept, so ad that to the time.
Sorry for the long response to a simple question, but I made the original statement and feel I need to explain it since a reputation is involved.
