I owned some Hondas, but not any Hondos.
Maybe you should buy a vowel :pound-hand:

Playmates for the Manits, perhaps...
I will be anxiously waiting to see what your artistic sense and apex skill set comes up with.

I am curious to see what you think about the big imbalance of the upper and lower horns as far as upper fret access.
Seems the anti - double cut. My left thumb is wiggling around not knowing where to go just looking at it.

Bikes, pipes, cats, guns, ham fests, boats, whatever, collectors/users, I've been through them all and what I noticed is when your at a show the feelings are all The SAME. The same camaraderie exists as a guitar show, same elations are experienced when you find a " find " , and all different opinions on what floats someone else's boat ( pun intended ). Always spoke to and met people that I normally wouldn't meet or interact with if I seen them in the street. And when I got to one I always, at the end, declare what I arguably call " The Catch Of The Day ". And er, er, Ah what the hell, I'll say it anyway, especially at the beach!8269186c.gif

Hay AD … that Peavey amp you passed to me on Craigs list (locally) is still available. Late last night I thought to check it out. if it was still on the block and it was! $150 clams. … Why Is it still standing? It seems like a gimmy but a bit of e Extensive TLC appears be be necessary just based the rusting jackjacks. Say we split the cost . er -'s At 30% lower, to start ,electrically splitting the parts,, and we offer it can we make clear $1oo bucks Each? I'm just asking off the cuff to see if there are any opportunities this situation, The electronics are my concern, but I could explain the EE to yo to get your opinium but we'd have to get around 400$ close to the bottom of the barrel and then invested in a another one ( whatever )w/ the loot we made and chern it over and work up the amp foodchain!! Just a thought I had after a an alcohol impingemeht after barnstorming ….. just thought of asking!

Well Hank, the PROBLEM -- with Peavey (and Drumoid can back me on this) amps--- is --- its sitting (still) because people do NOT pay any $ for them

Ive seen Bandit 112's and other Vintage Peavey SS stuff SIT --
Drumoid has HAD tube Peaveys SIT on CL for a LONG time
this is early HYBRID technology at its finest and probably (60 tube watts?!?!) rips heads-- a 60 Watt Tube head from any other USA maker would be considerably more yes?

this is a BEAST of a 2x12 (testify @Sp8ctre )-- AND also has the (at the time new) modeling EFx--
look at the price----- I mean REALLY!?!?!?!
--- you can easily play any small venue with that amp UNMIC'ed !! -- 150.00

Peavey amp resale is poo, period -- they are rarely good FLIPPERS -- they are GREAT value for the end user looking for an excellent amp cheap--

ANOTHER example---385.00 asking--probably get it for 350.00 Delta Blues 2x12
Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 2x12's run what ---2 times that used?

OK back to the original theme of this thread, one of the pointy bodies has undergone major surgery.
It got shortened, double hummed and Floyded to make it a true "Metal Master".

The shortening...

You can see how much was removed, along with making a more normal looking 4 screw neck joint.
Reshaped the upper horn into a nice beveled point as well. Then the router came out.
The original guitar was 25.5" scale length. I'm using a 24.75" scale length.
So I had to move some things around to get the body ready for the 24.75" scale neck, full size hummies, and a Floyd.
Way more work than it was worth, but what else do I have to do...

BINGO.

Still a ton more work to do, but now I have my vision of what will be.
Oh, the color will officially be Glowing Frog's Ass Green.
Stay tuned...

When I find something I want I do 3/4 deals afterwards and usually end up with like , the 55 Bassman! But boy does the wheels spin upstairs to get everything smoothly. Since you mentioned peavey so much I got too thinking there might be something there, especially the tube ones, I mean they have been around for a while now and I thought they might develop a lineage. Somewhat similar to the Burman Amps
