When I find something I want I do 3/4 deals afterwards and usually end up with like , the 55 Bassman! But boy does the wheels spin upstairs to get everything smoothly. Since you mentioned peavey so much I got too thinking there might be something there, especially the tube ones, I mean they have been around for a while now and I thought they might develop a lineage. Somewhat similar to the Burman Amps
they are solid for the value-- really--
keep an eye out -- Score a bandit 112....or a backstage plus -- even an Audition...and stinker around with it you might find a real diamond in the rough --

I'm really surprised how much smaller the body seems now.
By trimming an inch and a quarter off that upper horn, and moving the bridge & bridge pickup back 3/4" it seems more in proportion.

It could be attempted with an artists tiny spray gun and a lot of technique. But I'm not an artist either but then it would be even more unique. Specially' if there was some way you could find something that looked like the toads eyes, that would be the V&T knobs! Could make the front page of VG … then if enough folks are interested you could license out the Hackmaster line and all kinds of accolades would come and you would be a celebrity of sorts … I mean it's not so different than a 3 PUP Gretsch guitar?
