Need for speed

Perhaps it may be time to roll it in to the garage, lift the body off of the chassis, roll the old chassis out, roll a new chassis under the body, then lower the body down on the new chassis.

Speaking of which, Grant. I recently had a guy in my neighborhood hunting me down via calling my dad about my two 1983 Honda Civic wagons I have sittin at my house.

He was trying to see what I would sell them for. But since I am intending to fix the problems with my last running one ( a 5 speed Civic wagon with 1488 cc 65 HP motor) I really wasn't looking to sell.
So as crazy as this sounds with me not knowing anything Honda outside of motorcycles I owned, or these 2 cars, I found a deal on a B18 B1 or b2 motor a guy is selling. It just happens to be a Honda motor and I find out they are great for turbo etc. Get this,,,,,,,,,, asking price with wiring harness, $175. I immediately thought of your EVO motor.

Long story short, I talk to the guy who is interested in my Hondas, he knows his stuff and says they fit, but ECU and Wiring melding is the trick on swaps like this. Needless to say a 1983 Honda has no ECU or Fuel Injection etc. Oh and I am sure I'd need a transmission for the B18 instead of the one I have. But Imagine the possibilities I could do with my $200 bargain Honda I bought at auction a few years back.

This one reminds me of mine.

Recently I have been contemplating moving the site to a new server. The main concern I have is that there will be an increase in the cost of hosting this site. Due to the large amount of traffic that an online forum receives and the fact that we offer free image hosting, this site may be subject to higher hosting fees which at this time are not in my budget.

Honda is now offering a 2.0 turbo motor in their racy little civic. Still no match for my Evo.

HAHA Grant, but for a $200 car, I could buy a shiz ton of Hondas to equal one EVO, then again, I also get my 13 inch tires including rims for a buck a pc when me or my friends see them at auctions. Where no one uses 13's anymore, I get them dirt cheap and never have to visit a tire shop just to put rubber on my car that would cost more than the car itself did for me.

I would not object to paying a membership on this site. I know it raises other overheads in admin, but think about it.
