I hope this is o.k.--- if anyone is offended or thinks its the wrong venue I will nuke the thread--

But as many of you know Shannon and I run an "Island for Misfit Critters"---refuge for the injured or unwanted fur/feather friends we like to call Misfits Farm.

I thought (and I had some coaxing from a good friend here ;) ) you all might like to follow the updates and check in on the farm--- more pics will be posted regularly --and we will try and get some more comprehensive video of the critters being critters.--

Feel free to ask questions or choose a favorite to follow--- 2 of the ducks are named ----- wait for it------

A LOT of work goes into this ---its Shannons full & a 1/2 time job-- but the saving of these little (or sometimes LARGE) souls is a very rewarding way--- to put in a day! And watching each individual personality interact with the others--- it is truly amazing what animals are capable of. And equally amazing how poorly some humans treat them.
So check it out--- Im new to the digital angle so --- if you all have any suggestions or helpful tips -- please fire em at me!

You can--- I pm'd the info---

gofundme only does only does debit/cc for non filed charities-- we are working on getting that status--- but there are many hoops to jump through before that is awarded. Hoping this campaign may assist in getting that accreditation. :)

Yes, I am fine with it (even though Adrian does not need my permission). I had a hand in the suggestion. Adrian does more than own pets. He saves lives and funds it all from his own pocket. A rather poor excuse for a Ferengi if you ask me.

Even Ferengi like critters :)

BUt I must say the Misses deserves ALL the lifesaving credit--- Ive seen her "hand feed" TINY (I mean TINY) creatures-- like Sugar Gliders who lost mothers and baby parakeets (do you KNOW how small a baby parakeet is?!?!?! ) and nurse them (feeding every 4 hours 24/7 for 5-7 days ) to health and happiness. Dont know HOW she does it but she TRULY has a gift. I just do the heavy lifting.
 
Oh thats bad----
We have 2 pigs --- Albert (as in FAT ALBERT--and HE IS) and Hamlet (so named because he was a TINY baby pig when she rescued him) not so tiny any more.

HERE---is a snap shot of my monthly run to the Feed store--- this is for livestock--- dog food and cat food are purchased separately--and in almost similar abundance!

The neighbors all kick in scraps and bread from time to time but the brunt of the chow bill falls to yours truly --along with flea prevention---medical care-- spay/neuter expense (if required)
---sometimes it requires some "juggling" to make it all happen---
Keeps us busy--- but happy--

Would love to see the menagerie, I have mucked several stalls in my day. One or two more wont kill me.
