Misfits Farm, a fitting name indeed.
I've been there, it has to be an incredible amount of work & effort, day after day.
Never able to take a vacation or even be away from the place for very long.
Just keeping everyone watered is a 24 hour thing.
Couldn't even begin to fathom the amount of critter chow & vet care that's needed annually.
Good job Adrian, the critters depend on the Mrs. & you.

I have posted the link for your Go Fund Me page to my Facebook page. I don't have many friends, me being who I am, but my wife will share it and she has LOTS of friends and everyone loves her.
Most of them wonder why she is married to me. Hell sometimes I wonder that myself.
Hopefully that will help to put more eyes and $$$ to the effort.

Thanks Dave--- yes its true-- we havent "vacationed" in a decade--- she goes ---and I stay -- or I take a long weekend motorcycle run ---and she stays-- but its just not possible to lock the door and leave. We rarely go to the store or out to eat together -- same reason--- not that something really ever happens -- but IF it does we need to be here and prepped to handle it---
Interesting you mention watering-----one of the things we are looking into (because it rains here ALL THE TIME) with the funds from this campaign is a cistern system to catch rain water in barrels for use here on the farm--- we are on a well-- but in hurricane event ---the well dont PUMP without POWER-- looking for alternatives--
SO --- thank you all for your assistance --- it is much appreciated-- I will endeavor to post more info and pics of the CRAZY weird and wild life we have around here--goats in trees (and on trampolines---yes) curious cuddly parrots......

Just imagine.......I bet no one else here--- had a wild dove fly across their living room and perch on their head when they walked in from a run to the store a few minutes ago did you ........

bees are endangered.....populations are dwindling--- they are CRUCIAL to the environment for pollination--and well ---honey is good as food and medicinally ---The misses has a bee colony---(of course--- how silly of you to think we wouldnt have BEES on a FARM )

When I lived up in J'ville I had an Amazon and an African Gray parrot.
The Amazon was named Fred, and the Gray was named Wingnut.
A lot of stories on those two birds to be told.

gofundme only does only does debit/cc for non filed charities-- we are working on getting that status--- but there are many hoops to jump through before that is awarded. Hoping this campaign may assist in getting that accreditation.
