I used this at band practice today and came to a few conclusions:
1. The guitar is balanced very nicely and the new tremolo is very nice, and is brilliant for stuff like flutters
2. Tuning down to C standard and the heavier tremolo assembly have combined to give it more bottom end and sustain
3. I need to loosen the tremolo arm so that it swings away when I need to use palm muting
4. I'm not a fan of five-way switching, so I am glad that I am going to a 3-way on the new pickguard
5. These EMG-HZ pickups are too low output to work with the amp and pedal setup I currently have, so it will not be used live until the Black Hawks are installed.
