I just paid $14.87 for alnico 5 humbuckers. It is the guy I know because he sent me a note. He has a shop in his living room and dining table. His house is a mansion on the Hudson. The plane that landed on that river was almost in his front door. You could get lost in it. The pups cost .69 cents and I have nickel covers. The change is for shipping. Good work if you can get it.
I am amazed that dude is still alive.

Here you go, @kevinpaul - 490R - 7.7k Alnico II's - 490T - 8.1k Alnico II's / 498T 13.8k Alnico V.

I just reviewed my spec sheet on my 2016 Gibson Les Paul Studio T and it says 498T Bridge and 490R Neck...

The 498 is a lot hotter! I'm putting the crazy alnico Vs in my Standard. My Studio is a calm guitar but I can make it dirty with my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe or a Range Master that is on the way. I stole that on eBay for $85.00 vs way up there on a normal day.

My 2014 Studio is stock with 490s neck with bride. It is not a very aggressive sounding guitar unless I beat up on things.

Ok, i pleade the New Jersey state motto and thing I say my be, ok I will explain my adventure on eBay. I bought a Range Master like the one Brian May has. A great old time treble booste.
I paid on my American Express Card because it's every where I am dying to go. I bought pickups for .69 pennies. alnico 5 and both are decent deals. The Range Masters were hard to find because the good ones are hand wired .

What kind of sounds? Please take forever and draw these sounds if you will. Do you have to dial in these sounds? You spank the monkey if it's bad? Drawing that is illegal in Texas but most monkeys are illegal in Texas, yes even the well behaved monkeys. Now a little pinch and no more AAAHH
