Reactions to the Silver Sky from across the web....

"best of bread and Barry Manilow" .....been meaning to throw it out........

Manilow?

You mean his classics?

Like these?

I once walked five miles round trip to K-Mart with my older sister to buy Manilow’s double-album live release. At one time I knew the lyrics to all of Manilow’s hits simply because I heard them so often.

I doubt I would ever go back to playing a factory made guitar....even if I became famous.

On second thought, after playing a lot of high dollar guitars, I would endorse a custom Jackson, so long as the model was reasonably priced.

BUt....cant he just PLAY A FENDER and NOT BE ENDORSED....(and NOT collect royalty checks for the sales of Fenders?) and not make all this hubbubb about a fake Strat thats LIKE a classic strat with a twist of lime and my income attached to it....??
yes....he could ......
HE COULD STFU and play the guitar he wants...or a HELO KITTY guitar...and leave it at that....but does he NO

I do own a JM CD (and a PRS which I LOVE) --- the exwife abandoned the CD along with some "best of bread and Barry Manilow" .....been meaning to throw it out........

Best of Bread? That's classic 70s make-out music, man. I remember that my sister had the LP, and it came with glitter inside the plastic wrap.

More John Mayer bullshit....

"The first thing I want you to understand is that I embrace the Fender thing. I've seen people kind of disregard the Fender thing where they should regard it. As a customer at heart, I want to see people play Silver Sky through the Fender amp. Because that's what makes the sound. I was watching someone play through like a Victory amp and going, 'Just play through a Fender!'"

I can't help but wonder how Paul feels about this statement being that Paul makes amplifiers too.

What do you mean you're not Famous. Everyone knows you on TTR !!

I don't want a Chev or a Ford and don't give me a Honda either. Give me a Hyundai Santa Fe twin scroll Turbo 2.0 litre. Oh wait a minute I have one.

Hyundai Santa Fe twin scroll Turbo 2.0 litre really? I drive a 2 litre turbo powered 400HP daily driver made by Mitsubishi. It's been know to spank a vette or two.

Are you sure its not 320 H.P? I had a 2010 Santa Fe V6 with 276 H.P My 2014 they lightened the frame put in titanium steel for strength. Put in the 2 litre Turbo with 264 H.P its quicker than the V6 was.

Yup, I'm pretty sure. Actually it's 394.7 HP with 405.6 torque.

Yes that's lots of power for a small car. Its the foot lbs of torque that tells the story. My Santa Fe has lots of guts for an SUV.

21 Lbs of boost on 110 octane does lots for an adrenaline junkie

Please note the black Z06 that is in front of the fully race track prepped 911 turbo Porsche that leaves the start line just ahead of me. Lap 1 I pass the Porsche, lap 2 I pass the Vette. not to shabby for a little 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder, 4 door import.

I said I would never buy another 4 cylinder engine again in my lifetime, after owning 2 Domestic ones. When I first bought my Santa Fe it had a V6. Then in 2014 for the Sport Model you could only get a 4 cylinder 2.0 litre Turbo. The guys I know at the dealership told me no need to worry about this engine. They said remember we are talking Hyundai here. This will be their flagship engine I new it was in the Genesis coupe. Its a well proven engine. I took one out for a drive put it through the paces big time it was faster than my six, which is great ,but I look for the reliability factor which they have proven to me. My 2010 had 5 yrs put on 90,000 KM never back to the shop once for any Warranty work. My 2014 right now 40,000 KMS never been back for Warranty work. I maintain my vehicles , but from time to time I put the pedal to the metal. Because I trade up every 4 to 5 years, my vehicle maintenance that I have done is standard oil changes , tire rotation, and every 2 yrs I have the calipers cleaned and lubricated that's it. Every vehicle that I have owned which had been Domestic all purchased new by me, out of those vehicles 9 in number , every one of them would use a bit of oil between changes. If you would check the oil stick it would a quarter or so down between full and low mark. I check the oil level in the suv once per week. Never never has it dropped below the full mark on these 2 vehicles. I wind these babies to 6000 6200 RPMs at times, When you step on that pedal no ticking no rattling just smooth pure power coming from that engine. When I bought the first Santa Fe, I asked the Service advisor to give me a litre of oil he said to me why do you want a litre of oil for. I said for top up, all my vehicles that I have had used some oil between changes. He just looked at me and smiled you wont need any. So I left, thought oh I will buy some next time I'm in. Now I know why he smiled I have never bought a litre of oil for top up on my Hyundai's to this day. Cant wait for the new 2019s to appear at the Dealerships in August. From the pics I have seen Totally Awesome.
