and the Monaro--- closest thing we got here was the rebadged GTO

I grew up on a large street in Northeast Philadelphia. I especially remember watching Stingray Corvettes driving by in the mid 70s. Wow those things were hot.

I got out of car collecting in 2012. It was an expensive addiction and I could never seem to really "finish" a project.

I've never owned a car with an automatic - and never will. I've always driven hot rods - since my very first car.

My 'daily driver' isn't anything special really - but its a fun freeway assault vehicle.

I still do all my own work. You can thank my Dad's time in NASCAR for that:

And I still get better MPG than most Toyotas...

I like getting 25-27mpg and being able to break traction and fishtail from a 50mph roll....if you've never driven a V8 with a 4.30:1 gear in the back, let me tell you, its a real rocket sled. Why not have both???

I deliver two kids to school in it every morning and it the "Cool Bus" as my kid's school chums call it...

I drive a Chevy Spark. It is definitely a different beast from my old ‘71 Cutlass. It is small (very small) and gets excellent fuel economy - 40+ mpg. It has a 1.2 liter engine and a 9 gallon gas tank.

You know how when you’re looking for a parking space and you think there is an open spot, but when you get near it you see that it’s actually occupied by a little car?

I’m that car!

Anyhoo....

With enough Tetris magic, I can fit most of my gear in it, at least everything I’d need for a gig. Ask @chilipeppermaniac. He’s seen it!

So from L to R we have the clutch, the brake and the Pee-pee, very Australian, I'm sure it'll accelerate into common usage.
