No, about 20 years ago I got a personal tour of the Fender factory in Corona. This guitar was being made then in the Custom shop.

Let me make sure I have this right.
You want me to hit this lumpy little white ball with this piece
of tubing that has an out of balance off center chunk of
composites and metals on the end of it and have the ball
land in a coffee mug sized hole in the ground over 300
yards away? I also have to account for all the rolling
terrain, sand and water between where I am now and
where the hole is?, and I have to do it in 3 shots?
I also have to calculate wind speed and direction?
Yeah, that sounds like a whole boatload of fun.

Hah, I’ve been assimilated before ! Was working at a small medical firm in 2001 when GE Medical came along and bought us. All of the initial training was done online. For grins I right clicked to view the HTML and the programmer had a sense of humor. The main page was titled “The official GE assimilation page”.
Ha ha! I used to leave a note in the code with my contact info and phone number in all of my client web sites until I started getting random calls at all hours of the day with people calling to see if it was an actual phone number. I don't do that any more.
