[Session 5]

I woke up with a bad migraine today, so no work. I just got out of bed and the meds (I got one of my wife's migraine pills) are working fairly well. I don't really feel like playing, but I can't help myself... So I've given this one a few minutes in my lap. But I think the rest of the day will be spent lying on the couch trying to read a bit.

Here's one I'm using this morning heading out for a lesson.

Up early today...feel a little better. Did a little unplugged play on the Doublneck. it's the most frequently played guitar I have.





Funny, all the kids that come over want to play "that Def Leppard guitar..." even kids not old enough to remember Phil's Destroyer....

The Ibanez GIO line of budget guitars does not induce me the GAS, however.

Still on honeymoon with both of these recent acquisitions, but riffing the Iron Maiden favors the Jackson, so it has been in my clutches more often.
Just put a Tremolo Stop on it too, very stable, very happy.

The Ibanez stock pickups sound very keeperish now with A2 magnets over the ceramics

Whole lotta guitars for under $500!
Though I did buy an Epi hard case for the Ibby, pushing the total past the $500. mark

Nice, but I think his is laid out for one of these(the tubes are on the opposite side of the control panel)

It is a combo chassis; I have something in mind for a head chassis but in vertical orientation.
Those Mojo cabinets are nice but too pricey for me.
I'm not saying they are over priced - just out of my budget range.

I have some goofy retro repurposing thing in mind.
Even if it looks like sh*t (like the rest of its home brew brethen), if it brings the goods, I'm happy.
