I told myself I am gonna get one of those one day. Seems every time I find one some wad screwed it up in '80's by putting a stupid Floyd on/in it.

Interesting you mention the Sonex.......been looking at those with the "Resonwood" .......

Id fancy a go at one of those........the Marauder seems interesting as well. The Victory bass is cool--- but essentially a copy of my Peavey T-20.....just shaped different ...so ---redundant.... :)

The Sonex however peaks my interest as it seems the Norlin era answer to the current offerings like the M2 and the Firebird Zero ---oddly manufactured and sold to the similar price point --the Standard SONEX was 379 in 1980----- damn close to the price of current Zeros and M2.s ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,all these years later.............

I dig the Sonex. They sound unique and play great. Better grab one quick though, it seems the hipsters are on to them and the prices are going up.

My SG Custom is and has been my favorite
since I got it almost 49 years ago.

but...

I never should have sold this one.

Dude, that ES-335 had a Maestro?!

Too cool.

I'm thinking of doing that to my Washburn. I've decided I don't want to go Bigsby on that guitar because they are pretty bulky and can obstruct the controls. But, the Maestros are much less in the way. I have a Maestro on my SG Original 2 and really like the response.
