Just call me the "Guitar Gepetto" (which I like so much that I just bought the website guitargepetto.com. Then I noticed that there is a "Gepetto Guitars". I like mine better).
Pics.
There goes my typos again!!Sheltered life had me looking up "Gepetto", OK got that now.
The mentioned guitargepetto.com. has double p in the spelling. Don't know it that prevents a plan to generate huge wealth? LOL
Robert i fixed the spelling on the dog part of dog ear.
What is the mystery Robert?
The answer is quite simple.
That guitar is your guitar.
Consider yourself lucky.
Some never find that.

Don't encourage him.
The first things my guitars usually say is "Dismantle me! Fix me!" After I am done with that, they all are infused with a certain personality. SOme go through hundreds before finding the one.....they are called flippersThat guitar is your guitar.
Consider yourself lucky.

My Gibson SG Special speaks to me. It plays & feels good in my hands and I just love the ebony fret board on it. It has a lot of character since I had it for 26 years now. I have quite a few other guitars that speak to me but my Hagstrom Viking Deluxe really speaks to me and plays & feels amazing. It has a resonator fret board that looks and feels & looks like ebony but more consistent. The vibrator unit or Tremar as it's called stays very well in tune and it looks like it has a graphite nut for better tuning stability. The stock pick ups sound crisp and clear and handles clean & distortion sounds very well. It's my first semi-hollow body electric guitar that I'm proud to own.

All my guitars speak to me.
And, while they each have a unique accent, they all speak the same language...
...music!
Most guitars feel foreign in my hands. All the little minute, obscure details I hear and feel make finding the "right" guitar a real challenge.
And mt goodness...the quality of the clean tones!
I gotta unpack and setup my recording gear!
May I offer a suggestion?
Forget the recording gear.
Just play and listen.
Even if just a single chord.
Play and listen.
