So, today I drove up to meet with Chilipeppermanic and spent the afternoon pummeling his Marshall JMP halfstack with my guitars and his guitars.

Now, THERE’S an amplifier!!!

I’ll tell ya, the guitars he’s posted on the forum are even more awesome in person.

Most importantly, Chili is a truly friendly gentleman and it was a pleasure to meet him, play guitars, and chat.

But, he and I both forgot to take pics!!!!

Aaaarrrgh!!!

But, I promise...it really did happen!

Oh, I also played Chili's Telecaster!

I've only ever played one once in a music store.

I actually got a kick out of that. Teles ain't bad at all. But, y'all already knew that.

I won't divulge too much that Smitty hasn't already written about in the forums, but he does have some really sweet guitars himself. 2 Beautiful SG's a Sweet Strat and a most gorgeous LP Custom and that shiny new baby he has, the White LP Studio.
All sounded really great in my Marshall.

Ok, so here's a pic Chili sent me.

This is the amp we played through.

Yes. It was good!

That little Starcaster guitar is special, too. I has a fully-loaded pickguard that @Robert Herndon sent to him.

That guitar sounded pretty nice!

I'll also add that the amp was non-functional at one point, but due to the assistance Chili received from @DonP and @ivan H , he was able to fix it. He expressed a lot of appreciation for all the help he received from them.

I must add, Brother Relic also was instrumental in his big encouragement and belief in me that I could do it and actually fix my own amp rather than send it out to get fixed. Ivan and Don and another fella from the UK I found on the Marshall Amp forum named Nekeil ( neil) were all chock full of insight, teaching and consultation to help me go from Electronics kindergarten to Electronics College in a mere few weeks to a couple months time of fixing 2 amps, Mine and a buddy's.
