They have different pickups. The Semi-Hollow has pickups that have been "optimized for hollow body guitars". then there is the bridge position in relation to the pickupsI sure hear a difference......

I find that guitar confusing!
You described something few Gibson 57 fans admit too - almost shrill brightness....
Derailment, or merely a scenic route detour.....?
Anyway, the bigger the pooch, the bigger the poops.
I have often pondered as I walk our dogs, carrying a plastic bag of freshly retrieved crap:
IF there are space aliens watching, they may surmise the dogs are in charge and I am their servant.
In many ways, they have it better than I; a leisurely life where all their needs are secured and provided.
While I go off to slave and toil and errr, surf internet guitar forums all day.

Funny that statement---(typical Govt. angle) --- Yet I see 8 dogs every time a knock occurs at my front door that CHARGE forward to protect a human----over their K9 lives......wait I take that back--- 7 --- the male Chihuahua runs and hides.....but the rest attack the door with much ferocity ---The CO said he didn't want a "dog lover" in charge of the K9's because they might hesitate to expend a K9 to preserve a human life,

I'm sure there are times when the dog is a
greater benefit to society than the human.
Every time you say this I find it more and more hard to believeI'm not real social. I was never able to connect with people. As a police officer, i had no problem interecting with people. My former chief told me i was one of the best "people persons" he has ever seen, but on a personsl leve...not so much. Over the years, I got better, but I finally just stopped putting in the effort...
I've seen huge pit bulls take off running when a gun or Taser were unholstered. I've also accidentally scared dogs a few times...
Robert, my lil baby, Spike is not scared by guns, fireworks mortars, drums, tractors and skid steers, etc.
My former Huskie mutt was afraid of guns however. Even a little 22
