Thankfully, it's free down here....

Perhaps we can harness the gas expelled by Sérgio and pump it into the tires.
Of course it would really stink to experience a blowout!:stinker:
I'm a vegetarian and I enjoy much more flatulence than I ever did as a carnivore...
Another thing I noticed when we were racing...the nitrogen filled tires ran cooler and had less pressure change from cold to hot.
Thoughts???
I can think of no good reason for cooler running with nitrogen. But the cold/hot pressure change could certainly be accounted for by water.

Does this mean Robert doesn't read your posts Smitty?? lol
Racing is the only application where I ever heard of nitrogen being used, for greater consistency.
I never used it. I had magnesium wheels on my track moto and never had an issue with regular air. Those of us who got the most out of our tires paid excessive amounts of attention to tuning air pressures, though. Even to the point of using heat guns to measure tread and wheel temperatures. Ultimately, we (a few of us) could tune the tires by reading the wear, or lack of wear.
People would come off the track with nearly destroyed tires and think they were really doing the business. The bikes that won long and fast races had tires that looked all but brand new when they finished the race (assuming you started with fresh new tires).
I think he reads them, but selectively remembers them!

is simply another way to make a profit with "fluffy" advertizement in order to fleece the gulable public. Somehow I'm not surprised either. Anything for a buck eh?
