2018 Gibson Lineups

The LP studio looks pretty cool and has nice white binding - I would...

The SG standard has 61s, I would...

2017 was/is a very good year and 2018 is similar, imho. I like the 2018 Gibsons.

& then there are the Classics with P90s!

That P90 Goldtop Classic gives me serious GAS. I'd sub the TRC one without the writing on it and put some bell knobs on it, but man. that guitar looks great. I like the binding on the Studio as well.

I dunno, I'd call the SG Std HP a pretty major tweak (all the HP's for that matter, given the pickup configuration). It's the only one of the HP guitars I've been interested so far, looking forward to checking it out.

And the LP Classic with P-90's is possibly a must-have.

I prefer speed knobs, so it looks pretty perfect to me just the way it is (don't care about the TRC).

So over $2k sticker...I would hope it wasn't a dark back.
The more affordable models seem to be dark backs more often than not.
The Classic is under $2K.
I almost special ordered a dark back, but "settled" on this. I do not regret it, but I do like the dark backs too. Why do you dislike them?

Nice propaganda writers Gibson has huh? OK, there are some beautiful guitars no doubt but as usual, I am instantly aghast with the bull$hit Gibson tosses at us lemmings that are sure to buy & support Gibson regardless.

If Gibson was truly 'heeding the words of many customers' they certainly would understand by now that players needing the better equipped & appointed 'HP' guitars do not need nor want a G Farce tuning system mandatorily forced up their sphincters while extorting an extra $200 out of their wallets for the privilege of owning an HP Gibson that most serious musicians will be forced to remove if thet want to use the guitar professionally in a live situation. HP my a$$.

Nothing worse than being given a $#it sandwhich & told it's a delicacy. New model year, same bull$it, less models, new colors!
Other than that & cutting model options because they're ''less popular''.. I LOVE what I'm seeing.

I thinks Gibson guitars are way over-priced PERIOD! The neck breaks easy at the 17 degree angled head-stock while Epiphone has a 14 degree angle for less chance of breakage. I think Henry J. should retire soon and bring in some new blood to improve their guitars even more.
