Imgur has an Android app - I'd guess they have an Apple app too.
Sorry, I wasn't trying to implicate you specifically, but the huge, funny pics thread you started way back when on MF had a lot of content that would be frowned upon here.
I meant that more as a PSA to any newcomers.

I saved a bunch of the old emojis (link below) before the change over, but unfortunately, I missed that one.
I saved a bunch of these to my computer before the change over and they all went away. I don't know if they can added to the forum or if the boss man wants to fool with it, but here they are. I have them loaded to Imgur so I can just go grab one and post it like any other Imgur image. I thought maybe someone might want to do the same. Seems I can also drag and drop.

No need for Imgur. Just use Image Size to bring your pics under 1.5mb.

That's from around the turn of the century, when I tried a country band for fairs & festivals. A 13yo female singer. She sang not superbly, but better than I played. At The Ohio State Fair. That's the last time I wore the hat & boots, or could tolerate country music before it went too modern

Long ago I used dropbox. They got annoying quickly. My android fone auto uploads any new fone pics to Google Photos cloud. But I can only get a link to post. More research is required. Meanwhile...

A lot of the cloud hosting services do not allow hotlinking photos. That’s why only links to the photos are able to be posted.
May be why I started using Imjur. Besides the fact so many here said to use it.
Yes. Imjur, and Photophucket, are geared for that kind of thing. Others are not.
I use this simple IOS app called Image Size. Available free in the App Store. With the pic on screen, one click sends it to the app (use the boxed up arrow). Once open in the app, select the x or y size, then use the down arrow to save. Takes about 15 seconds max.
Never tried photobucket. Imjur worked for me. I stayed.
I do use MS Paint to resize and or crop. Super easy. Does what I want. I can crop on my phone and do if I’ve done a screen shot.
