Yes - VerticalScope Inc. bought the forum a few months ago, along with their "sister" sites like TGP.
Migrated all the forums to a new platform, and the MF switched over a couple days ago.

There's no end to the members complaining over there, and lots of "just get used to it" responses form admin.
Cross & Dogs (and Alex when he owned it) were very lenient with the rules, unless something got out of hand.

The new admin is putting the clamps on rules enforcement.
Apparently now the new strategy for complainers is to just delete the complaint posts.

Maybe so. But have you ever been banned for Life after only a few posts? I have. Had just joined a new forum. First post. Introduced myself. May have mentioned who invited me. I was trying to post photos of my stuff and wasn’t having an easy time of it. So I did what most people do. I asked what I was doing wrong and how do I post said photos. That was like my third post. Shortly after that got the “banned for life” message.

Never did find out why. It certainly wasn’t anything I’d said. Just figured I’m awesome….. their loss.

Technically, it's only a temporary ban - and I don't recall the exact numbers, but I think I had over 10k+ posts and 40k+ likes.
Supposedly for a "cooling off period" of 1 week.

"You have been banned for the following reason: divisive / asked to be banned / giving him time to cool off. Your ban will be lifted on Jul 3, 2026 at 12:00 AM. You will now be logged out."

I don't think I even got warm, let alone hot enough to cool off. :hmmm:

I guess that's what they call it if you question them deleting posts that don't fit in the manifesto.

Maybe I'll go back next week and finish the job... :coffee2:
 
Fitz-tits, that is kind of shameful from what it seems. I got logged out during the mess and I cant remember my password. Clicked the link and tried to reset, never got an email. Came here to visit, same thing forgot my password, these guys got me hooked up in minutes.
