My Telecaster Project Build

Man, this thing has been sitting for a while.
Gotta say..... I think you I both have had a Tele project going for about the same amount of time. Your’s is more extensive. My body came pre-routed. Bought a neck, hardware and electronics. Down to installing pups and pots and set up. Ambition..... or lack thereof.

I know what appears as obvious , I buy stuff and put it on a shelf (procrastination) since I have retired I have been running from one project to another. Pickgaurd , pickup change on the HB , Ebony LP studio Pickup, pot change, build my steps ( injured finger) involved , cement and some construction @Mitch Pearrow SJMP
Writing some riffs. Now I’m building a heavy duty gate. I’m not lounging. lol

Better than rushing it like I did with most of my builds. Most of them were disappointing.

Oh…. I’m not sitting around watching soaps…. Or more likely in my case…. Cooking shows. But my primary reason for not getting this green guitar finished is motivation.

I'm actually working on a Tele project right now. I got my Warmoth Tele up and running again a few days ago and have decided it need different pickups and rewiring. I just ordered a new bridge pickup that I'm pretty stoked about, but I'm not going to derail your thread talking about it here. ;)

So far, I just came in from putting a coat of stain on the cedar 2 x 6, it took more than a hour to sand 5 planks. I had one set of 5 painted and ready to go. Tomorrow , easy peasy.

I followed an Amish YouTube video on these barn gates . That sounds like a oxymoron doesn’t it.

It’s ok , I don’t mind. I sort got side tracked on my reply. Heck these guys had John Wick viewing party last week in the “riff thread” I don’t think anyone is upset about it. lol

Yeah. I was a guilty party on that one.
