Oh no..Something New

I would probably cut down something like this:

…to plug the hole.

… but I would encourage you use your imagination for something appropriately cool to take the space.
Maybe sandwiched under a pickup sized piece of plexi.
I actually have a piece somewhere here.

@fitz , I had really wanted this guitar put together but the mistake I made with the bridge alignment is kind of giving me OCD.
It hangs on the wall.
A while back I bought some stuff from a guy on Facebook and it had a couple of extra things in the bag , a blue pickgaurd and a hard tail Strat bridge . I started thinking I might figure a way to convert it.
It would involve gluing a chunk of
wood ( mahogany) in the trem opening.

Sorry, just saw this post. (I'm not getting the "Mentions you in a message" notifications)

I think gluing a plug in the trem block hole would be the best way to convert to a hardtail.
I'd sand/file the paint from the inside of the hole to get a good wood to wood glue surface.
Fit in a piece of any kind of hardwood to and just glue it flush on top.
Doesn't need to be beautiful if it's covered by the hardtail.

Exactly my thought but I wanted to hear your opinion, thanks.
