The Muse I Adorn

I'm GASing so hard right now for some P90s! I'm even thinking about selling my Traditional to get a P90 LP since I just spend my guitar money on an amp.

I saw one of these at the local guitar shop, and I’m betting that you’ll find the following a bit interesting. New at $2800, but here’s one in mint condition for $2400 at Reverb:

Don’t know anything about the Gibson hum free P90 DC pickups, but the demo videos sound good. Mini toggle switch is for a 15 dB boost.

I’ve only had GAS for one “signature” guitar. That would be a black Eric Clapton Strat. I took some pepto and got over it. This Gibby is lots nicer.

Besides the pickups not being regular P90s, that guitar has 3 things going against it... 1. It's a sig 2. it's cherry, my absolute least favorite finish and 3. it has a fat neck.

I don't have a issue with red guitars my first custom shop Les Paul standard is red with a 5A maple top
My latest guitar purchase is red also to me it's how they play not the color have to love 20% off free shipping no tax
it has the same neck profile as my former 1960 00 serial number Les Paul standard I sold type one same as a 1959 LPS
this 2008 PRS plays like a dream and it's only 8 pounds

Gorgeous sexy quilt!

I converted my Black Strat to an H/S/S after many years of deliberation. I kept the Lace Gold Sensors for middle and neck and added a Seymour Duncan Distortion for the bridge. I had tried a Dean Pat Baker first. It came in at 17.3K and tried to rip the roof off my neighbors house. Way too hot and not much articulation. Next I tried a leftover from my Epi Explorer. Nice and articulate but not enough guts. So I rolled the dice to try the Seymour Duncan's. Glad I did. Just the right mix for me.

Very Sweet Strat!

I’ve been playing this old friend for the past couple of hours. This week has been total crap, and getting transported back 25-30 years with this one has been nice. Wish I could go MIA tomorrow.

Saw this post in the featured photos. I really wish I could go MIA with a couple of guitars and an amp for a week, or five.

Power company had to shut electricity off for our neighborhood so the tree trimmers wouldn't electrocute themselves. So no power. What's a guy to do? Hey..... I have an acoustic. Seemed appropriate. It's been too long since I've played the acoustic. Loaded with 12s, finger tips didn't last long. :pound-hand:

Just pulled this DGT out of storage for some rehearsals in NJ next week; am gearing up for a reunion mini-tour with one of my old bands this Summer.
I love being able to balance the pickup volumes in middle position, Les Paul style. This is the only one of my PRSi which lets me do that.
