Here's the same with 6L6 that again says Stealth
The page it was on listed Stealth.I found those too, but they didn't say Stealth. I'm not going to worry about it anymore. I know now that the secret sauce is in the bias setting. I just proved that tonight.
I question it because all the things referring to the stealth have an S somewhere to identify it as the Stealth model. This is a shot of the tube layout taken from the underside of my head, note the "S".The page it was on listed Stealth.
Ah yes. Seeing as the layout is exactly the same I would suspect the tube descriptors are the same.I question it because all the things referring to the stealth have an S somewhere to identify it as the Stealth model. Yeah, me too. It doesn't make any sense that they would do such a radical change for the stealth. That's why my comment earlier about all the misinformation out there. I know now, "and knowing is half the battle".Ah yes. Seeing as the layout is exactly the same I would suspect the tube descriptors are the same.
I will compare to a few. The 6505MH, the Mesa Triple Crown too. Also, perhaps oddly, the BluGuitar Amp1 Iridium stomp amp. That thing really does sound incredible.I can't wait to see what you think about it after you get yours.
Ummmmm……I guess I should say something. The honeymoon ended and I decided it just wasn't really what I wanted. It's too modern sounding for my taste and I just couldn't get the sound I wanted out of it. I returned the amp. The hunt is on.
Ummmmm……
Fair enough sir. I was wondering what the budget was.Yeah, that's sweet, but if I looked up the euros to dollar conversion right, that's $4500. I wouldn't spend that on an amp if I had it. I'm only working with about $1600 max here.
How about this?
Atticus 35 - Phaez Amps
Currently under contstruction. Will update ASAP. This version is 35W with a pair of 6L6's run very lightly (tubes should last 20 yrs!) The channels complement each other nicely. Truly world class. Hi channel is extremely refined hot rodded Marshall. MANY years of tweaking. Corona is all...www.phaezamp.com
Interesting…from 5150 to Plexi…quite a pivot. Nice…I'm thinking about this...

Hot Rodded Plexi Chupacabra 50 - Ceriatone
The Ceriatone Chupacabra 50 was the first offering in our Hot Rodded Plexi series, and is still a favorite for fans of British guitar tones who are keen onceriatone.com
I love a hot rod Plexi. It's what my Lil' Devil is, but it's never sounded just like I want it to. It was rebuilt from a reverse engineered spaghetti incident and I think there must be something still not right even though many corrections to the circuit were made along the way, and even more when I just recently did some mods to it. The Chupacobra is basically everything I wish my Lil' Devil was, but a higher watt version. ...and it has an effects loop to boot.Interesting…from 5150 to Plexi…quite a pivot. Nice…
