Ratt and Def Leppard remain tied at nine votes. I'm letting that poll remain for another day, then if still tied, I have a solution.
Anyway the show must go on... This thread is about Cinderella VS Scorpions
To me, I have to admit Cinderella music still is sticky in my head. I like that it's so blues-based. Me against the world themes.
Never really liked the Scorps much personally. My best memory of the Scorpions in the 80's was when this dude named Joey used to come pick up my older sister for dates, he was usually blasting The Scorpions outta his truck. To me the scorpions always seemed a little too much like "gettin' horny in the backseat" music. But really, isn't that the very foundation of rock 'n roll after all? The Scorpions just badassed it up a LOT.
I do prefer Keifer to Klaus, vox wise - I felt Klaus was always a bit too nasal. It's a hard call but I think I gotta give the guitar edge to the Scorpions

It's kind of a battle between a quick riser, vs a band that paid major dues and for a long time and positioned for success when hard rock came to the fore.
Here we have a well-known Cinderella hit
And, a hit by the Scorps
Honestly, not sure how I'm gonna lean on this one
