I just chatted with Adrian. Yes, he's in cleanup phase right now.FYI, I have been in contact with Adrian a.k.a. @eSGEe over the past few days and he assured me that he should be safe during the storm. As of this morning, he has not replied back to me. I'm hoping it's just that he is too busy cleaning up of has no power. My prayers are out to Adrian and family!
Great on minor damage.I just received this email from Adrian...
"We are o.k. just minor
My dog Murphy passed away ....I think the stress was to much on his heart 14 plus years ...."

Yep. Neighbor helping neighbor, even when neighbors are 1000 miles apart. Its times like these, we get together to help our friends.

Gruelling days and gratitude for Canadian linemen helping with U.S. hurricane outages
Quebecer Stephan Perreault and his team of linemen have been helping restore power in North Carolina since Hurricane Helene hit in late September, and they don't expect to be heading home any time soon.www.ctvnews.ca
There is everything political about how a natural disaster is handled, just to say. I think to say what you said undermines the fact that politics are being played very hard against rescue attempts for these victims. You can hear it from the horses mouth everywhere. Politics is contextual and certainly exists in this situation to colossal proportions. We have people trying to politicize natural disasters of biblical proportions….. there is nothing political about a natural disaster.
Guy was interviewed on the news the other night. Don’t remember if NC after Helene or FL moments after Milton. He had shown up to help cleanup…. His comment was, “I don’t ask who he voted for, I’m just here to help as needed.” Then fired up his chain saw and went to work.
That’s neighbors helping each other.
We will agree to disagree and leave it at that. There is everything political about how a natural disaster is handled, just to say. Now can they be discussed here is another matter.
Jest sayin', iblive.
