Ok panic mode continues. Skipped lunch today! In an hour and 45 I completed this track AND uploaded the video. LOL!
If there was a speed record for a RiffMasters Main Event entry, might be eligible. But, when you listen won't take long to
understand it's not a contender! Timing issues, mix issues, all kinds of issues. I'm just diving under the closing door here
for the five participation points. I think this should also qualify for the extra "Surf Mode" point too, though. Is what it is!

This late round is proving that the RiffMasters field is beginning to wear thin, musical fatigue is setting in,
separating the men, (and wimmen), from the boys. Only four submissions for RiffMunsters? WTF?

Then lastly came "SurfMunsters" by TVvoodoo, thrown down not long before the deadline wire.


1 extra point available for adding sound FX, as well as 1 extra for editing it to the footage. Seems everyone gets the extra 2
except Ibormjamn, who didn't do a video edit.
Top vote gets 10 points, 2nd/3rd place get 7. Final place gets 5. In the even of a tie, first submission in takes precedent.

Please have a listen with the idea these are pitched as replacement opening/credit themes

Don’t worry , I kind of knew I wasn’t going to finish this time.I put a bunch of time and effort in the Motown song. My singing is just not good. lol

Voting update... "RiffNumsters" is leading the pack of wolves right now, one length ahead of "Funky Monster 2
"Spooky" and "SurfMunsters" are battling it out for third place.

While there was an initial mad rush of TTR Members trying to get in to vote, there are no longer any line ups
at the polling website HERE and if you take more than ten seconds to cast your votes, you may be cognitively
impaired!

Three current entries worked a lot harder than one of the contestants, but they all deserve a listen.
And, other than the four of them in it for the music, the rest could only show up with excuses.

Second and third place to @ibmorjamn and @frostyjr2 respectively, also in with new themes for "The Munsters" situation comedy program rather early as well,
for seven points each. There was a tie for third place, but first submission in takes precedent, pushing "RiffMunsters" into fourth, for five participatory points.
Congratulations in particular for ibmorjamn, as I believe this is his first podium placement, seems to be definitely gathering steam as we near the finish line.

Looks to me like those points plus two bonus points each for Ku, Frosty, ibmorjamn and TVvoodoo, for the sound effects,
and ONE more each for Ku, Frosty, and TV for the video edit.

Chapter 10 Main Event

My fellow RiffMasters, we’ve traveled dirt roads, made sweet love music, tense international intrique music, surfed, punked,
totally chilled out and even explored the very depths of Hell! Worse yet, we’ve even been challenged to try jazz!

Sadly, along the way it seems we've left behind some friends who started this epic musical trek with us, but others have joined us along the way, to help keep things VERY interesting! Well, it ain't quite over yet! It's now time for the final leg of our journey, the one we've been working towards for nearly an entire year!

For The Chapter 10 Main Event we will culminate this year long musical adventure with a Monster Boss waiting to be slayed, a fitting challenge to complete the journey.
Some of you may find this daunting, but with all the skills most of you have explored throughout the challenges, I expect any initial intimidation will likely
give way to creative inspiration once you actually get started.

For the final Main Event challenge you are to write, record and produce an original piece of music, including lyrics, ( spoken or sung). The catch is, the theme we'll be all be working with is “Modern Problems”

Simply put, make one or more observations about the current times we’re living in, and flesh that out in a recorded song which includes a title, verses,
choruses and even a bridge, solo and outtro if you wish. Your lyrics may be serious, dark, poignant, humorous, whatever!
As long as it is accompanied by original music in any style you wish, singer/songwriter style, or full-blown production.

Minimum 3:00 long and like the Motown Showdown side hustle, please post your lyrics along with your musical submission.

Five bonus points are available for singing or spoken-wording lyrics in the recorded production, by yourself or someone you recruit.
Deadline is Sunday November 10th, 7PM to get into the vote, or earn them participation points.

No RiffMasters Main Event Challenge is mandatory. Anyone can drop in at any time, and you should!
The goal is to have fun, challenge yourself, and share the creativity inside this beautiful community.

Chapter 10 Main Event Scoring: 48 hour Community Poll Vote on submissions post deadline.
Top Vote Earner = 10 points
Second & Third Places = 7 points.
Participation Award: All other competitors who manage to submit a valid entry = 5 points
