I'm rockin' out on a Friday night right now. I've been doing pickup swaps in my 3 LPs all week long only find out I had them all right to begin with. Now I know and don't have to think about it anymore. The main take away is I found that my Standard is the only one I have that sounds good with a high output bridge pickup in it and it not only sounds good, it sounds great!!!! Better than any other guitar I've ever had for high gain stuff. I was going to sell that guitar, but now I can't. I had big plans for that money, too...bummer.

I also found out that my Satin Honeyburst Tribute, as much as I like that guitar, is my worst sounding guitar...also bummer. Not sure what to do with it, but I have too many guitars and something has to go. It won't be either one of these..

Well been attempting to buy a used guitar from guitar center or musicians friend blocked sale line two hours on the phone
was able to buy the last PRS Custom 24 artist package rosewood neck ten top great guitar. a few months ago they will get back with me ???

Mail that thing to me, I'll make it sound epic and treat it well
It's not really that it sounds bad, if it was my only guitar I'd be perfectly happy with it, it just doesn't compare with my others and I guess really it shouldn't. I'm comparing a Tribute to (basically) 2 standards. Also the tribute is weight relieved and the other 2 are solid body. I have another Tribute (weight relief) that's not up and running right now because I also don't think it sounds very good in the same way. I think the weight relief vs solid body is actually a thing, I didn't before. I'm learning a lot here with these experiments.

What does surprise me it how different my Standard and my Traditional are with the same pickups when they're essentially the same specs with the exception of the neck profile.

I hear that. 2 consecutive guitars off the factory floor will sound different, it's the nature of things.

Found a used one just ordered it

Sweet! I love the finish.

Brazilian board?
