Unfortunately i have no easy way of syncing audio to video at the moment, so ...
start the video at about 2 measures into the audio track.

Jeez, hope you mend without too much pain or lingering effects. If today is the day after then you're probably pretty stiff and sore. BUT, the track sounds great!I live about four blocks from the local post office. In the summer i cycle there probably three times a week, mailing straps that I carry in the milk crate bungied to the back. Today I was in a rush to make the truck so was bootin' 'er real good and there's a blind corner, where NOBODY ever comes down, i mean it's a sleepy little town here, so I take it pretty fast for fun.
Today, was different.
I come into the corner as fast I usually try to take it, suddenly a dude's coming at me pretty fast himself, also on a mountain bike...
a bush there hides what's the view for both of us. Anyway, we saw each other about the same time. Not sure what he did, I slammed on my brakes and did the old side-skid pretty intensely, ended up dropping pretty hard onto my shoulder before almost swiping into a stop sign post. Other dude managed to just steer clear of me sliding along, but he kindly did stop to help the old guy up. "I'm fine!" I say, getting up, brushing myself off, continuing on all wobbly to the post office. A half hour later, back at home, I'm feeling the effects of shock, and quite a lot of pain, fingers getting numb.
Boy oh boys, hurt myself pretty bad, right hand side, it's hanging kind of useless now... I had a bag of peas on it for an hour, took some ibuprofin. We'll see what it looks like later when the wife gets home. Stupid me. Riding like I'm 25 when I have no business doing that anymore. Think I might end up putting my arm into a sling here.
Anyway, couldn't do any table work all afternoon, but my arm is ok here on an armrest typing so, I took care of some bookwork, and finally got to adding the sound effects to my second spy theme called "Covert Ops."
This one has super fuzzed Bass, some tremolo guitar, strings, some glockenspiel and a drone chorus pad.
"COVERT OPS"
Round 7 "Spy Game" Modern Style
There are 62 different instances of sound effects, should have done another ten to make it right. I think the SFX are a bit loud in the final mix, but they are super important for this stuff too. I tried importing the video into reaper the add the sound effects but it kept crashing, and my cheap video edit program doesn't give me quite the finesse I want for ideal sound effects placement/levels.
But Man I love this Spy Game challenge. I wanna to make ten more!
This makes me whole for Round 7 - I'll take the two points, still not quite not enough to evict LiveEvil
but does get me to "Roller" status - these gals will take good care of me!

Time the avenger! But we'll go down swinging.@Oldiemurphy I can use my arm a little bit today... but a lot of wincing. Left arm still works! Seems just VERY bruised. Sleeping position was a toughie. Full mobility without pain if I move VERY slow. Says to me no rotator cuff issue. Thanks for the boosts! Somehow I managed to get old, stupid as I is. Bad combo. Just very glad no head injury. Still extremely handsome tho!
Couple weeks ago missed the bottom step coming down off the step ladder. Ended up going all the way down. Bounced my left butt cheek off the sidewalk. Scraped an elbow. My bride watched the whole thing. I think she was ready to call 911 for this old man.@Oldiemurphy I can use my arm a little bit today... but a lot of wincing. Left arm still works! That’s for dang sure, on the bouncing part, we don’t have any spare parts lying around to fix us back up..Couple weeks ago missed the bottom step coming down off the step ladder. I was fine. Told her that. My only real worry was my glasses went flying. More worried about them than my butt. They were fine. Fortunate I didn’t jam my tailbone. Butt dang….. think I did bruise the left hip. It’s still tender two weeks later. And yes. I added a t to but for a cheap joke.
Happy you seem to be no worse for the wear. Us “old” guys don’t bounce like we did when we were 20.
First, my best wishes for a speedy recovery from your accident (and the same to iblive also).I gave it the title "Mysteriata" because it is very mysterious, interesting and again not what I'd expect but man
it works very well! The chill beat and that reverby guitar remind me of Boards of Canada ambient trip-hop a bit,
and the strange time feel just gives it an off-balance, disorientating vibe.
When in HS band we did the original Mission Impossible theme. And yes. 5/4. It was a bit weird for a bunch of HS kids…. But we got thru it and and a fun time was had.First, my best wishes for a speedy recovery from your accident (and the same to iblive also).
As a former bicycle racer i've definitely seen my share of meetings with the pavement, so i feel your pain.
Thanks again for the sync work, i really appreciate it!
Ambient prog / trip-hop are words that i often use to describe my music so i'm happy that you caught that
so well ... re: strange time feel, did you know that Lalo Schifrin's theme for the original Mission: Impossible
TV show was apparently the first use of odd metre (5/4 time) in that genre?
i wanted to make something that was both chill and tension-inducing at the same time and i think it worked.
You can mess your looks up just not your guitar playing parts like you did last challenge. Of course unless you are worried about how you are going to look out of penthouse . SWEET FUNKY PLATFORM SHOED GEEZUS!!!FYIH
Now you say I can't funk,
But you KNOW it ain't true,
Just listen to this little diddy-
doobly doo,
I'm gonna FUNK you in half,
Just like I said that I would,
So there won't be no mistakin'
And it's understood.
I won't spend too much time,
Writin' nursery rhymes,
Cuz I am a busy man,
Tryin' to keep it sublime.
So here's this little ditty,
That I wrote for you,
Now listen to this ditty
Tell me that it ain't true.
You think I can not bring the Funk
I CAN BRING IT
You think I can not bring the Funk
Hear me sang
How long must I go on,
'til it's understood,
That I'm a funky mutha funkuh
And it's understood,
I just used the same word
To rhyme the same rhyme,
The next thing that you'll tell me
That's a Funky crime,
You stepped to me,
I didn't step to you,
So listen up son
Here's what I'm gonna do
I'm gonna give you some funk,
Hope it blows your mind,
I'm gonna funk you in half,
Now you know I ain't lyin'.
You think I can not bring the Funk
I CAN BRING IT
You think I can not bring the Funk
HEAR ME SING
You think I can not bring the Funk
I CAN BRING IT
You think I can not bring the Funk
HEAR ME SING
