Your prettiest hammer?

Man, don't even get me started ..I love sexy looking tools. Most of mine are German brands. My claw hammer is DeWalt and looks like this, but is 14 ounces...

Point of the thread is simple:

It's not how pretty they are...but how they perform the tasks you're using them for.

Same goes for guitars. It's not how pretty they are...it's how they sound when you play them.

The worst guitars I have ever had were "pretty". The best are kinda plain.

Well Chris, I found it interesting that when considering a reply to this thread, I thought how little I cared what my few hammers looked like.

a beat up beast with spray over. cherry finish .only 1 screw in tuners,,, clear over spray everywhere..bondo in the headstock..b bridge pup in wrong spot, hacked up pickguard freakin sounds amazing..no tone pots hooked up or varitone.. and no they can not have the 25 mph signs back...people drive on my sidewalk at 50 mph & hit em..

I disagree. The "prettyness" of a guitar has no association with performance capability. I take this more as an ode to well performing beaters, which is often not the case.
