Mine is a Milwaukee framing hammer. Curved maple handle. Does the job as intended. 
Well Chris, I found it interesting that when considering a reply to this thread, I thought how little I cared what my few hammers looked like.Point of the thread is simple:
It's not how pretty they are...but how they perform the tasks you're using them for.
Same goes for guitars. It's not how pretty they are...it's how they sound when you play them.
The worst guitars I have ever had were "pretty". The best are kinda plain.
