Nice! I've also got a Fuzzrite. I'm still trying to find a way to make it work with some of my songs.I currently have a Wampler Velvet and a Catalinbread/Moseley FuzzRite. The Wampler is supposed to emulate a Fuzz Face into a Plexi... it's a nice, smooth sound but a bit on the dark side. The FuzzRite does the 60's raspy garage sound pretty well.

Yeah, it's a very specific sounding fuzz. Kind of thin sounding. I tried a version of an old Ventures song with it:Nice! I've also got a Fuzzrite. I'm still trying to find a way to make it work with some of my songs.

Imagine having your favorite pitch-shifter, octave generator, and analog fuzz all in one pedal. A dual effect designed to inspire musical adventuring. That's what the new Octa Psi Transfigurating Fuzz is all about.
The all-analog fuzz and distortion features a powerful transistor design that will make any bass or guitar pickup sound massive. The fast tracking polyphonic pitch-shifter offers a symphony of sounds to explore. Drop tuning, familiar and new pitch-shifting combinations, and even unexpected chorus-inspired sounds just to name a few.
9/24/2024 cant wait to see the video from mr Keeley today he said 3 years in the makingWhy settle for static Fuzz into Pitch Shift or Pitch Shift into Fuzz settings? With the Octa Psi, you don't have to be binary. On-the-fly commands include switching the effects order, going all-wet, and even True bypass to Buffered Bypass modes. Plug in for Remote use or use a TRS Expression Pedal to control the pitch bending parameters and dive-bomb your heart out. The Octa Psi delivers mind-blowing sounds and visual impact in a newly designed aluminum enclosure with the quality you would expect from Robert Keeley. Welcome to a new era of Keeley Electronics.

Are you gonna pull the trigger on one of these? I watched the Andy demo the other night. Monster sound but Andy can make anything sound good. I've always had good luck with Keeley pedals. I'm tempted to get one but I'm not allowing myself any more pedals for a while.Been looking for a fuzz to replace the one my cousin took back excited to try one of these

Same here!I've always had good luck with Keeley pedals.
Have you tried?…I haven't been getting along with fuzz pedals lately. They seem to make my amp act weird, like volume drops and farty bass. I would think I might have a tube issue with my Harvard clone, but it's only when I'm using fuzz.
I'm playing the amp totally clean, no breakup, and then adding fuzz.Have you tried?…
Amp set fairly clean, like ac/dc early stuff with the guitar volume set around 7-8…think “Jailbreak”. Set the fuzz volume to boost the amp volume. Adjust fuzz to desired thickness…while balancing level…
Works with a lot of amps, but not all…too dirty results in a messy wash. That’s why Gilmour liked HiWatt headroom.
I've been reading up on Beck's "Heart Full of Soul" sound. Unsure if it was a Meyer "One Off" pedal or a Colorsound Tonebender. But it was a loud amp with the fuzz on full, and guitar volume rolled off. I keep experimenting with all of mine before I dump any more money into more pedals. A Tonebender or early Analogman Sun Face might be something I'd go for next. Otherwise, most of my dirt comes from overdrive pedals. I just can't find the right pedal for the fuzz sound I'm hearing in my head.Have you tried?…

Okay…do you find the result to be a bit tighter than you had expected?I'm playing the amp totally clean, no breakup, and then adding fuzz.
Yeah, I built a silicon fuzz that I liked, for filling that “envisioned” fuzz sound… but it didn’t last long, as it was in a multi-boost/distortion build that proved unworthy of mobile use…I still haven’t found “that sound” since.I've been reading up on Beck's "Heart Full of Soul" sound.
