Announcing... RiffMasters!

I have a side hustle brewing.
A lot of first takes and done. I have spent the better part of the morning working on drum, guitar parts and finally added the video.

Kind of inside out. While I have watched the video, I didn't play along to it.
lt will be here soon. Probably tomorrow at the soonest.

Ok , so you ain't been around. Good to see you jamn. What are the sources of your amazing tone ? 2nd Hot damn Country metal fusion:bow:
Damn dude , mind blown :notes:
Thank you my friend, but you will laugh I am sure at the dissarey of my set up but I am playing My Warmoth candy Tangerine (yes color matters when tone is concerned) Strat on Bridge pickup ( Seymour Duncan STK-S7, Killer bridge pickup) through an East club 18 head ( which has to stting on a Marshall for extra grunt) and a plywood 1x12 with a V 30 from the early 90's and an OCD OD to tighten it up a skoash with a touch of delay. Then it's just playing a little softer for cleanish ( as no good tone is ever all the way clean ;) ) and dig in a touch for the dirtier stuff. Pedals must be aligned in this particular way ( sort of like the stars aligning) for the mojo :ROFLMAO:.

Well done, thanks for the info.
Are the East 18 Marshall 18w clones ?
OCD sounds good. The pickup is awesome. All played very well.

Very cool. East amps are on my short list of amps I would consider if I went back to tube amps full time

They are pretty cool, Bober is quirky and the design is not for all but the tone is delicious. I also have a Budda from before Peavy bought him out and its awsome but very very loud. I still use an attenuator, but I have a place I don't have to worry about volume so I will use them as long as I can.

It's just a single, so I dug this out of the bottom drawer for my Blooz Man submission.

I'll give a little extra for my Wild West tho, pinky swear!
'Voodoo been hangin' wit dat big momma perkins cross dat Delta.

Just an update.
I woke up this morning to find @TVvoodoo somehow snuck into the penthouse again.
@Ku² is only going to give you the heave-ho in a day or two. I don’t know why you bother.
@C-Grin returns to grace us with more of his Mountain Dew guitar shanannagans and keep his place on the charts.
@Thatbastarddon has been more quiet than usual. Maybe his lava lamp broke and now he is lost without those colorful floating globules.

Still got time to go for more submissions! Get em in boys and girls!!

It might take a few more rounds but I’m coming for you guys!

I’m peaking in the penthouse window as we speak…

….Do I have to walk around naked in there or do you guys just do that by choice?

Indeed I do! A quick note about RiffMaster Points For anyone new to TTR, and wondering...

@LiveeviL2000 has generously been co-captaining the RFM Adventure as PointsMaster (marvel at his boss spreadsheet skilz!)
and also as general Instigator/Provocateur

img_2843-jpeg.100164

On the points chart RiffMaster participants in ORANGE have chosen to not take part in the regular "Guitar Duel" system designed to help level the playing field. In many cases those members have also not been regular submitters for the easy "participation points" available in every round. This accounts mostly for where they are on the board.

RiffMasters is open to all. Just simply jump in and post something on theme for the current challenges, then continue to watch this thread for
rather amazing submissions by your fellow forumites, deadline warnings, points updates, good-natured trash talk and braggadocio, and a new regular challenges that are designed for players of all types.

But again... PLEASE don't view "points" as any main goal of this adventure except for neanderthal chest-beating.

RiffMasters is REALLY about:

1. Spurring creativity,
2. Sharing what you done
3. Venturing outside your musical comfort zone
4. Puttin' all your gear to work, and MOST importantly,
5. Having fun!

I have a loincloth only rule.
Of course @TVvoodoo does like to take olive oil and slather himself in it ... which, of course, I hate because he is always dripping all over the tile floor and everything gets slippery. @Ku² usually locks himself in the master suite, most likely to avoid us. I have noticed KuKu never comes out to play a game of Sword Dueling with me and Brad.

.... where was I going with this??

Oh right!!! Loincloths! Just wear a loincloth. But not after 7:00, you will find it interferes with our nightly game of Sword Dueling.
