Family photo

I screwed in a couple of more light bulbs and I'm getting better shots without so much dark around the edges so that definitely means my lighting sucked. I'm trying to figure out why it's impossible to get a shot that isn't blurred. This is my Tribute after I put my Bare Knuckles in today. I took 10 shots trying my best to keep the camera still and this is the best one. Ugh..

Camera shake. Lower ISO or? What mode? It means a slower shutter speed which happens with lower light and no flash.
Boost ISO higher. It's a trade off.

Thanks, I'll try it again, but it wasn't good when I tried it before.

I think I need a better camera, just the 360 has a lot more settings for an extra $100. Are cameras worth anything on a trade in? :hmmm:

Well more settings might not help, depends what they are.
What ISO did u use?
2 - no. Old electronics aren't worth dick sadly.

See what ISO is at first

ISO is set to 400. It can be set at 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600. So I guess the other day I just went in the middle.

Try 1600. Should speed up the shutter some.
If shakey pics, not enough light. Higher ISO makes ot more sensitive.
White balance looks better, better colors.

Sounds bizarre but in really low loght uou can also set on a baby tripod or even table top to keep it more steady. Use self timer so no hands on camera when it fires.

I used to use a tripod all the time, but since I moved it's still packed up in a box somewhere. I've rearranged my whole apartment just to clear some room to go thru my boxes and organize the things I need keep and get rid of anything I don't. right now it's just all mixed together because I had to pack and move in such a hurry. I have so much crap I don't have room to move in my little space, but that about to change.

Wait for an overcast day. You have like windows and maybe a sliding door to somehwre? I dunno. Get lots of soft sunlight coming in on that overcast day and get gujtars right in ot. Set ISO back to 400. Done!

Open the window and get a Bobcat. Over the edge! I am tempted some days

I have a couple of windows and I could open the front door and I have a front deck. I'll be trying some things now that I have a better understanding of my camera settings and what they do. I might have more questions for you later on, but I think I have enough to work with for now.
