Is this r a p e by Gibson?

Don not sure what's going on yesterday got an email from Gibson back in stock
I put a set in my cart when I tried to pay empty cart, I was going to send you a set.
The number on my set is #178 I don't think they are sold out just releasing a few at a time.
Thanks for the thought Steve. If you can get another set I’ll certain pay shipping to get them here. I just plowed my driveway, so if a get email they are in I’m gonna drive over to the guy I practice with and have him buy them to his address.

Just checked again and they are still in the notify me mode.

This^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^is exactly what I thought. Much like another recent “limited” pedal post here, something germanium.
Ahhh,,igot this handmade Analogwise Pedals germanium made in Poland somewhere for like $45 off ebay few years back.. You can hear each stage (3)kick in on gain knob & the boost juices the kick in to taste. Very cool pedal. Dude has this stash off old components & makes a few homemade wood & metal boxes on custom run of a few from time to time

I measured the set today neck 7.69 bridge 8.24 using a Fluke 87 V

My early 1960 LPS neck 8.11 bridge 7.64
My 1958 Flying V neck 8.31 bridge 8.65

I’ve had this set for a long time but we’re never sure if they are the real deal. When I did some googling there were many articles about fakes. The font on these labels do not look like the real ones. But for giggles I just went and measured them with a Fluke 117. Neck - 7.65K, bridge - 7.89K.

Very nice!
But….I was referring to this, fairly recent, thread…alerting us to a similar type of equipment investment property…

These got pricey pretty quick. They seem to be going for a bit more than they were originally….

Saw that & isn"t so amusing when they get bought up & then resold just like the stanley mugs lol

You know it's a Unicorn if Gibson is the only one that can build them after 65 years. Limited release $1000 and greed set in for a quick buck.
For that reason I am out.
