My question would be. How do they duplicate something built around 70 years ago? (1) They haven't "aged." (2) At the time they couldn't make two pups in a row that sounded the same. We could walk into a store and find five LP's and five Strats. Not one of the Les Paul's would sound like the other four. Same for the Strats. (3) So one has to ask.... exactly which one of the thousands of original PAF's has Gibson chosen to painstakingly duplicate?
The only thing going for these, thanks to modern methods of assembly, every single one will sound just like all the others.
Or am I missing something?
