Ambassador of what? Hold my beer? Yep, stuff like this is why, lol. The more I looked at it the less I liked the black. This is what I should have done to begin with, this looks right.

If I could edit my thread title I'd add "...and back again", but I can't.
It was weird, there was something about the black that took away from the finish and washed out the top grain, it was bugging the crap out of me. Now it's back...weird.

I thought the black looked good on my other tribute that I did a natural finish on. In fact that's where I got the parts from to do this one. It just didn't look as good as I thought it would.

I first swapped the pickups a few days ago and put the zebras in and it looked better IMO. Sorry, I didn't think to get a pic. But then I was thinking about it and I still wanted to go back to the cream plastics and the hardware had to change too if I was going to do that. I been thinking about putting it back the way it was for a few weeks now and once I put the zebras in I knew I wanted to change everything back.
See, I've had my Standard to compare it to all this time and I just thought the zebras look better with the cream and nickel.
