Yep…right up my alley.![]()
Ambassador of what? Hold my beer? Yep, that's me. The more I looked at it the less I liked the black. This is what I should have done to begin with, this looks right.

…..on it….If I could edit my thread title I'd add "...and back again", but I can't.
It was weird, there was something about the black that took away from the finish and washed out the top grain, it was bugging the crap out of me. Now it's back...weird.

Only Les Paul i ever seen personally that black hardware ect looked good on are the Les Paul Silver burst customs.
That is like a super model. No matter how it dresses up, still looks dy-no-mite!!!

I like Zebras although I wonder if the black hardware would still work.
Those are fine looking guitars!I first swapped the pickups a few days ago and put the zebras in and it looked better IMO. Sorry, I didn't think to get a pic. But then I was thinking about it and I still wanted to go back to the cream plastics and the hardware had to change too if I was going to do that. I been thinking about putting it back the way it was for a few weeks now and once I put the zebras in I knew I wanted to change everything back.
See, I've had my Standard to compare it to all this time and I just thought the zebras look better with the cream and nickel.
