Announcing... RiffMasters!

@BFT Gibson I'm going to assume not one of the first songs your ever learned as a budding guitar player,
so can't be a valid entry into RiffMasters.

I do however encourage you to enter RiffMasters with a bonafide entry, as it seems you are interested in
sharing and following along anyway! Plenty of time, because you obviously know what you are doing

I am cool with watching along, even tho it was technically the one & only guitar song i ever attempted to cover. 2015 sitting at table with my daughter (13) and her friends. I jammed that on a washburn strat into a fender SS amp(only had bass stuff around) it is the song that started the swing to guitar cause i can lead being a bass player pretty instinctively. IFound out i could manipulate single notes faster & then do octave stuff...yep first guitar cover try. I found out could color the song more than original & back to writing material for the band but the slow switch to writing on guitar started happening. Much more to do creativity wise than on bass

It doesn't have to be included. .I make so much music its crazy. Just enjoy when people make their own music.Will say the thread got me to play a cover !! Nice !! it lead to something new & way dif

PS , sent it to my daughter. What a great moment we shared going back. Thanks !
