No, I just learned to live with the old one. I think I have a new appreciation for the different flavors of speakers after building a cab, so i was really appreciating the "Blue Marvel" made by Eminence speakers the Peavey has. They will probably get better when broken in, but they have some nice Fender mids to highs right now.
 
Oh ok.Ive wondered what speakers are in the big ol Peavey cab i got out garage saling but id have to take it apart to find out so ill just have to wonder i guess but they do sound good.

Dang 199$ Good deal.So what you think of the little Grumpy Chihuahua ? Its kind of a 2 trick pony but it does them well i think.I sit on the end of the couch and just flick it on and go.If i want clean i turn the gain to about 10 oclock, then go from there with the gain depending on the song im atempting to play.

I think it sounds stellar. Maybe it is because I play at low volumes, but I can honestly say that I get as much enjoyment from hybrid amps (tubes in pre-amp only) as I do from all valve with the additional benefit that i do not have to change power tubes all the time.
 
Ya were it shines,just turn it on and go.I got other small 1 x 12AX7 amps but the Mirco Terror out does them all.I even use it on that big ol Peavey cab and its loud as all get out.
 
DAMN RVA --- that IS SWEET DEAL!!!! NOw you have something to play on St. Patricks Day! ;)
