Try it through one of your pa speakers maybe first.
FRFR, so they say.I dunno bro, maybe someone else will chime in. I do not own a Katanna, maybe a Copperback 250? Or I could be off my rocker here. Generally, you would want to run a modeler thru a pa or similar.
That is the kinda thing old Spudder was getting at. Or you could get a powered PA speaker like this QX15A 1000W Active 15-Inch Main/Monitor with DSP or other.
I never played too much hooked to the computer, I just set a mode and gain EQ etc how I liked and saved to a preset.I like the presets for sure a lot to figure out
Difficult for a non tech guy but i will as it can do a lot of things in the Tone studio to get some incredible stuff pretty happy so far
Looking at this cab to pair it with cheap but V30’s ought to sound delicious

Good god man! Who the hell reads the manual!!!A quick read of the manual leads to…the speaker outputs are geared toward using standard 8 Ω - 16 Ω guitar speaker cabinets.
There is cabinet emulation available on the “line outputs”…the line outputs can feed PA/FRFR powered cabinets.
Good god man! Who the hell reads the manual!!!
Yeah….I usually read it before I buy something….then ignore it for years…Good god man! Who the hell reads the manual!!!

Looking for a decent not bank breaking 2x 12 cab
Was considering a Marshall mx212ar and the boss cab212 both are used
What cab are you using an how do you like it
This thing will be easy for road trips to my parents farm the next few weeks
Thanks in advance
I bought a seismic audio 2x12 last year and added my own speakers, it was inexpensive, built very well, and sounds great.
I ran my katanas through a lot of different speakers. What was your speaker formula?
Thanks a bunch Bro!
Much impressed with the head unit even the little 5 inch speaker gets some decent tones i know a cab will make it intense ! Just trying to find right cab i like the upright but that isn’t a deal breaker if i find the right one
Monoprice has a 2x12 cab thats built nice and v30’s 369$ i need make sure wired for 8ohm
Was hoping to find something nice used local
The internal speaker is for “practice amp mode”, so you can fire it up in the living room without annoying anyone.I bought a used blackstar venue 2x12 first, and it was great! It was cheap too, lucked out! But I sold it off with a DSL head awhile back and had to buy another 2x12.
I am pretty sure the little in head speaker is just to listen in real time while you adjust your software and be able to hear the changes as you load them.
It's just like a quick handy monitor where you can bring your head in the house and plug it in to your computer and make changes and then back out to your big rig.
Lemee guess...........manual?The internal speaker is for “practice amp mode”, so you can fire it up in the living room without annoying anyone.
