The Reaper plugins are available, and usable as a VST for any host DAW that will run VST effects. Either 32 bit, or 64 bit. See my link above to download the suite, if desired. There are so many plugins right now it is staggering to choose.
Free ones and payed EQ plugins.
Not even sure what makes them better or not. Obviously some have more features.
Not to many people here using them I guess.
I have Reaper but I don't use it.
I have been using Mixcraft 9 as my DAW.
That's why I posted this thread up.I have pretty much the complete collections from Softube, Plugin Alliance, Soundtoys, Sonnox, fabfilter, focusrite, etc. Some of the best EQ's exist in these collections, so if you might want to download their trial versions to check them out. I think it might be worth it ....
I was a plug kick a few years ago and while I dropped a decent amount of cash I waited for their periodic sales to get the plugs at HUGE discounts. This could be a $200 plug for $30 or a $400 plug for $100. So, wait for sales!!
When you get into the big name hardware and the models of them you get into the real super good stuff. I think it's a typical get what you pay for situation. As far as a DAW, I use Reaper and it's great for me.
Awesome deal here: Sonnox Claro is an awesome high-end EQ and is has a STEEP discount right now:

I got that same deal about a year ago. They must be running it again. Sonnox is major good stuff and you'd probably sit nice with that alone.
Also, PluginAlliance is running a buy 2 get 2 free now:
Look at the AMEK EQ 250!! Regular $350 for $29!!!!
Looks like all their "Heavy Hitters" are all $29!! I've never seen this!

:dood:
Yes please , by all means. Time is running out on the sale.Yep.
You could get 4 top end processors for that little right now. I've seen sales, but not like that.
I could help you which 4 to get for the best use, but you may be fine yourself ....I dunno.
Unbelievable pricing . I never would have paid the full price.I have pretty much the complete collections from Softube, Plugin Alliance, Soundtoys, Sonnox, fabfilter, focusrite, etc. Some of the best EQ's exist in these collections, so if you might want to download their trial versions to check them out. It is huge!I picked up 8 heavy hitter plugs for $120. Regular cost would have been about 2K.
I'm hoping others are catching this. It's a pretty big deal.
Technically, “Mic’s Room” fits the most.Is there a recording room sub forum?
That's makes sense but I am mostly about this digital software. It is mostly not using mics. Overwhelming amount of effort is being put in to modeling studio recording hardware. The kind that was used to record monumental engineered recordings. Big awakward expensive sometimes limited built . I have barely touched the surface.Technically, “Mic’s Room” fits the most.
Yep…I’d say that fits there, more than anywhere else. That's makes sense but I am mostly about this digital software. It is mostly not using mics. Hey….what happened to @Sapient ’s posts?
I don't know. That's weird.
Well, it helped a bunch and good timing. Once sales ended or if they did the links would be to expensive software. They were time sensitive.Sorry guys. I deleted them. It was very messy and confusing as things rolled out. I meant to just post again what was pertinent but then I thought sale was over. Then I found out it wasn't. Then I never got back to it.
I can help whomever as I'm sure others can as well.

There was a thread going around here called "The Recording Thread". It was pretty popular. Is there a recording room sub forum?
