I still have all my tools for working on drum brakes.Awesome work!!!!
My dad could do drum brakes. I never really messed with them nor do I have the proper tools. Disc brakes are easy.I still have all my tools for working on drum brakes.
Me too.I still have all my tools for working on drum brakes.
I’ve worked on my own cars forever. Just for whatever reason…. Drum brakes wasn’t something I had opportunity to do.I’ve had these since 1972. Always worked on my own car and as a mechanic for few years.View attachment 91399
Have a Snap On cabinet full of tools I bought thru the mid-late 70s before moving into the Parts Department. Before parts I was a mechanic and truck driver. Worked at a CaseIH tractor store. Not too many drum brakes on a 150hp tractor. But some fairly large diesel engines and transmissions.I’ve had these since 1972. Always worked on my own car and as a mechanic for few years.View attachment 91399
Amongst other goodies, I have all my stuff for setting points and adjusting dwell and timing. My '59 Harley still uses points, and I have a few flatheads I hope to eventually have running again. Never give up on the old tools, they will always be useful. Still have my brake tools too.I’ve had these since 1972. Always worked on my own car and as a mechanic for few years.View attachment 91399
