So Anyway...

Well I shook the toner cartridges and was able to get some prints. Printed a Starry Night headstock size water slide decal. Went to put it on the headstock and some of the ink cracked off (those jagged yellow lines). So this became a test decal for fitting. Just the right size, so now I’m gonna print another water slide decal and let it day for a day before I soak it flat and do no bends getting it on the headstock.

That's looking great Don! Perhaps you may wish to expand upon the theme with a shirt to go along with the guitar and strap?

So Anyway...I've decided I can't completely give up guitar.

I'm going to keep playing my Schecter using the Yousician app I bought. It may seem like a childish way to play, but I enjoy it and my wife says my playing sounds great when I use it! Follow the bouncing ball!

That being said I needed a low-cost amp to plug into my audio interface, so I just bought a Blackstar Silverline Deluxe 100W Head.

It has a ton of modelling controls and a computer interface that makes everything easy to set up. It suits me fine and I like it better than the Katana 100W head I used to have. The thing I like the most is the switch that allows you to change the virtual modelled tube set.

I KNEW you would come back to the twang fiddle!

Upgraded a couple of pedals to replace a basic Joyo analog delay, and the Biyang reverb.
Both of these are at least ok basic pedals, the Biyang is fine; it just doesnt drip.
I use these enough to consider upgrades.

The JHS Delay has 2 voicings, and I never liked the way the Joyo colored my tone.
The Oceans 11 has a ton of voicings, but what I wanted most is a good bang for the buck drippy, surfy spring reverb.
I listened to a lot of Youtube reviews and shootouts.

I considered building a Fender 6G15 reverb unit, but it seems a bridge too far time and $$$ wise.
The Surfy Bear is just too expensive as well.

Have not had a lot of time with them, but like them fine so far.

I loved the Oceans 11 when I had a pedal board!

Awesome!!!!!

So Anyways
I got out to see a couple of band this last Friday night.
It was a place called
The Mamba
On the bill was
Blue Virus
Made of Metal
Headbangers Ball

Blue Virus was a heavy kind of funk band , in the vein of Robin Trower, SRV with a touch of Hendrix..

Made of Metal was a Priest, Fight, Halford, tribute type band
Robert and I both know James the singer, and Rick the bassist from
Fire Control.

Headbangers Ball was a cool bunch rockers that played a great set list of covers from all over the map.

Cheers
