TTR Game of Toanz

I have detected a slight upset in the tone race for today. It appears Chilipeppermaniac is making a dash for Top 10, bypassing both RVA and Sp8ctre in one day to take number 13, but even sp8ctre will admit he's more into making knives right now. Far Rider won't hit top 20 until he actually turns up his amp to a respectable rock and roll level. Herndon found out about the tone rankings, and is now quietly fuming and plotting how he can supplant anyone to reach the top 5, but it could cost him thousands to get there because it's common knowledge gold and yellow guitars can't make good tone. Even I am a little worried though, I think he's got lots of money.

Top 5 of which list. Because it really seems everyone is bucking for that number 1 suckiest spot. And there really seems to be limited interest at being good.

I'm terrible. That's why I make knives now. When I sharpen them on a paper wheel grinder, I get a really cool tone. So precise in fact that I can tell whether I have the angle of the blade correct by the sound! I'll have to record and post it...

You need one of these!

And an example of my.more cultured, studio tone.

Are we judging rhythm or solo tone?

Great question!

Criteria is weighted, 33% rhythm tone, 44% lead tone, and 23% ITP (intangible tone potential), taking into account signal chain, stage presence and impressive posing abilities. I can say only a couple TTR members are really taking full advantage of that last 23%. Jethro rocker, Mitch and Headache are basically floating by many more deserving others on ITP alone. I think if many in the top 20 woke up and started challenging in intangible tone potential realm, you'd see a very different top ten I think, other than me of course.

Anyone who has not yet been mentioned in the rankings as of yet, here's where you should go first

GREAT PLACE TO START
